The Day Happened for Bolivia

(Lausanne,le 13 février 2008) During the press conference of today in Cochabamba with the presence of the key Bolivian politic authorities, the televisions and the media, Jean-Pierre Seppey, WVBF President, Luis Moreno, WVBF 1st Vice President, have duly registered that the Bolivian Volleyball and Beach Volleyball Association has been founded today with its affiliation to the WVBF, World Volleyball and Beach Volleyball Federation.
Messrs. Seppey and Moreno announced also officially the city of Cochabamba as the host city of the WVBFProseries Beach Volleyball World Championships first two women and men legs from the 18th to the 27th April 2008.
The WVBF Presidency declared its full support to the Bolivian Association which joined the WVBF ethical sport movement.
It was also expressed that WVBF will get in 48 hours the complete support from 10 South America National Associations’ delegates who will define with WVBF Presidency the 2008 development programs.
Further more, Roberto Pavisic, the very famous Beach Volleyball continental leader, said that we are at the beginning of a new era for Volleyball and Beach Volleyball in his country. He expressed his emotion as follows: “ The Day Happened for Bolivia”.
He invited his whole family and all the new Association’s members to seek and to do everything for a sport with ethics and with educational values.
